The N.A monogram

heyyy..guyss..well..this is my another art which is black and white paper. what i did is Ive cut the black and white paper to make an master piece..well not master yet but rookie piece..haha
anyway..u can see the 2 arrows is pointing towards the latter "N and A" that ive cut it. that shows more attraction on the latters.

Ive change my logo, in my first picture was "NA" it means (Naim Azwan) but people would think that i forgot to put "IM". so what i did is to be more pacific, i make another one which my first name "NAIM".Just to let you guys know. Anyway, i did some try out over here by taking picture of myself. How it feels to have an album cover of your own, is kinda cool though..but this just a sample and not bad. something different.

So... this is my monogram.
The K and Y in lines stands for my name and surname which is, Kelly Yong. The other K stands for my last two name which is, Kah Keey. Put it altogether, my whole name is Kelly Yong Kah Keey. :D
The lines at the side I just randomly put for fun.



This one I just stick it like that so it looks neat.

SP- Monogram

OK, this is my monogram. I don't know how I end up having two faces because initially i just cut out "SP" after I have found the font that I like. Then I just randomly arrange them. I started with P instead of S. I just used those left over black paper after SP is cut out. Without realising it, I have already form a smiley face. Then i decided to make another face for S. There is no theme nothing in this monogram. ;)

I have made this nice and neat thing in class. I think I have changed this for three times before i actually paste them down on the paper.

At the begining, I was planning to make it like a bomb has exploded, and things are flying out others have cracks. But I felt that it just does not look quite right. I do not like the way it is setup. So, I changed everything, end up with this. Both sides are like everythings are falling down and the object below cannot support anymore at the end it just cracks out. Everything is just random. Randomly came out of my mind. I do not know what to say........ >.<

The Fox's Cut & Paste

Hey guys! Just uploading our cut & paste designs. I'm sure some of you already watched my work during class. Yeah i do prefer things nice & tidy ( but not the type who iron my boxer & underwear ok!! ). My theme for the cut & paste this time is robotic-machine like design, slightly influenced by Transformers. Here are the designs i have done so far begins with the design using our name initial letter.

I'm totally blank at first, until i saw a one of my wallpaper collection in my laptop which leads to this idea. It was a man with a robotic-like suit, quite similar to the suit used in laboratory when handling hazardous chemicals but kind of robotic. Then i saw my another wallpaper, which is a girl with a headphone on her head. I decided to combine both idea but without sacrificing the shape of the letter. Its true we can cut it into pieces and design it more flexible that way, but i wanted to test out how far i could go within the restricted rule.

This is the second design i created for the "nice & tidy" design. Wanted to keep it simple & thought lining up 3 squares horizontally at the bottom part will do but then i just cant see those empty space left blank in white. Maybe i am used to photography, i cant leave the frame empty without a subject. So i played around several time and end up to this. Yeah i know it looks plain & dull, but it is something that kind of reflecting myself from the past with me in the center bringing balance to my desire, the pressure, family's wish, ambition & passion. Suddenly sounds complicated eh? hahaha....

As for the last design which represent "dynamic", i choose extend my "clean & tidy" design into something i look forward to be currently, TO BURST!! haha... It may sounded a bit weird, but i really do looking forward to be more dynamic in the way of thinking, and adding more colors in my life. I'm sure you have known i used to be an passive-boring-type engineering student. Everything must be done precisely & without slight error. Failure is not an option. Being wrong is a taboo. Screw it all!! I am who i am & i want to be who i am. I have done what i must, and now its time for me to be in my own world. It was the part of the deal with my parent though. I'm glad now being in Taylor's with all of you & really enjoying every second of it. Life is carnival. Live your life to the fullest!

Thought i'd do something diffrent. As like in looking at my first/last letter C ( cut out a lot of the letter C's to make it a C ) & G in 3 diffrent kinds of way. but, i feel like its way to simple. perhaps i didnt put much thinking of how i was going to create my first/last letter. ill try to scan a proper image of it when im free. sorry for the bad pictures taken.

This is the picture that i made in class today.I learned creative. In this picture, you can see rows of circular and square. In my opinion, it just like tables....which in the restaurant...prepare for the customers...lol...ya?

From the other side...u can see a row of fish ball and 2 row of ' tau fu ' ...It means tht prepare to eat steambot...lolzzz....

Wow... i'm totally amazed by our new blog layout. thx to andy for ur hardwork. gokuro sama desu! welcome to our happy-go-round-super playfull ( especially girls, u know who i referring to! ) class of July intake. as i mention before, lets make this blog our own design hub. post anything u feel like sharing with others. designs, expressions, experiences, u name it ( but no adult stuff ok andy! i know u looking forward to it >.< ).

Anyways, i'm no gud in drawing stuff to begin with. a total zero. but i do photography & luv it so much, even though didnt go out often these days. the old Sony A200 DSLR is what i carry around most of the time. composition is crucial in taking pictures. without a good composition, the picture will look flat. one of the most important element was the Rule Of Thirds. Rule Of Thirds is the rule on how u arrange the subject in the photo frame to make it looks lively with the eyes has the nice capture of the subject. i believe we will be apply the same rule in our drawings in future. photography is very costly when it comes to buy the gears u need. sumtimes it can go up all the way until RM30k ++ ( yes, RM 30,000 ) juz for a single lens. its best to polish up ur skills before buying any new gears & find out what type of gear suits ur photography style. here some of the shots in my collection so far ( all unedited ).

I still got loads of pictures in my collection & all were unedited. a bit frustrated wasnt able to go to any GT race for the past 2 years. sigh... my GT queens...........

Pencil

Greetings to my beloved designers.Im Afiq. Diploma in Multimedia Design. Well i got a nickname for myself which is "Addie". lol dads inspiration. I've been using that name mostly on my gaming characters and craps. Im proud of myself for beeing what i am today and before. I love sitting in front of the computer with fingers tapping the keyboard. Thats my passion. HAHA nahh im joking. Oh i love to draw. i like sketches. Arts has always been my passion. Since my dad is an art director and my mom is an art teacher. I've started drawing eversince i was 6. And i love to...... ok well too much talking and better start explaining. Alright. So we have a tiny cute lil pencil yeh ? Its not just a pencil . Well actually this pencil describes me the best. Why ? We use pencil to draw , write , sketch and what ever related , correct ? But pencil is just a pencil if it doesnt get our support or energy to make it functioning. We even sharpen it so it work even better. Just like me. Im not saying that " oh i need support , if not i cannot study and be a good student laa " No its not true. That is totally unreliable and unindependent. What im trying to say is i'd do even better in school , life , college , attitude , whatever if i get the supports. Especially from you guys. Yes you! and you! and you as well. I dont really know how to describe my self as a pencil but im sure you get what i mean right ? So please dont try me as ima break you in to two as the pencil always do. hahaha sorry im so out of the topic. Hehe. A B-boy or B-girl is a person devoted to hip hop culture, more specifically, bboying/break-dancing. Crazy Legs of Rock Steady Crew explains the origin of the term - “the word b-boy originated from Kool Herc … b-boys and b-girls - break boys, break girls” . There are four basic elements which form the foundation of B-boying. The first is Toprock, a term referring to the upright dancing and shuffles that B-boys do when they enter a circle. The second element is the Downrock or Footwork, refers to dancing performed on the floor. The third element, is known as the Freeze, refers to the poses that B-boys throw into their dance sets to add punctuation to certain beats and end their routines. The fourth and final element of bboying is the Power moves. These are acrobatic moves normally made up of circular motions where the dancer will spin either on the floor, or in the air.
A related dance form which influenced B-boying is Uprocking / Rocking / The Rock Dance, also performed while standing, and a style of dance in which both dancers fabricate ways of beating the opponent using mimed weaponry and embarrassing situations in rhythm with the music ("Burning"). SRi - SHERRY

My school friend used to make fun of my name. They said, SRI is everywhereeee... SRI is a restaurant name, SRI is road name, SRI is also name of temple like Sri Pasupathinath Alayam just right infront of my primary school. Hahahaha...

I cant believe I still can remember the temple name until now. SRI PASUPATHINATH ALAYAM. Hehe... Some thinks I am an Indian la... Indonesian la.. Chinese too, but never mind that.

So where does Sherry came from? One of my good close friend used to call me Sherry to replace the 'everywhere name' and still calls me that till today.

So, I googled sherry and i found out that sherry is a wine made from grapes and turn out to be I just read that grape has been on earth for almost 38-23-million years based on the fossil that had been found in Montana USA. Lasting and unique! I hope that explains...... ;)

Hihi ! I got no nickname between me and my friends. So just call me Kar Xin. =) I choose a strawberry with chocolate dip picture because my boyfriend gave one to me on Thursday when he's having his pastry class... So SwEEt~~ ^^ Actually, i don't really like strawberry cause its soury >.< !!! But my boyfriend gave one was special ! LoLx !

Just Naim

Hey everybody, my name is Naim i don't have nickname anyway..hmm..lets see, well about me..I like to eat sleep eat sleep..haha..not really, when i have a free time or boring i just take sketch book draw anything but mostly something logos or cars but draw a living things(human, animal, or trees) I'm suck at it, if you guys know what i mean. Yeah, this what I do on my past time. When I grow up I wanna be a car designer, even since I was small i keep drawing cars, until i say to my dad "papa..I wanna be a car designer"..haha..i always keep this in mind, what dad use to said "its not about traditional, is not about digital, its all about ideas and creativity..the rest is only the medium"..i think this will be all.

I am great to meet everyone in Taylor’s school of design. My nickname is JJ. My eng name is Jun Jie so I just call myself JJ. I am just an ordinary and normal guy.
This picture shows a candle with lighten that I chosen representing the light. In our world without light is terrible and we can imagine that we all going to live in darkness and we can’t see any things without light. That why the reason I like light because it can lighten the darkness and gave me hope and warm, and that doesn’t means I dislike black color or something black. For me lights also let me feel very comfort and peaceful.
